Gov. Palin: Going Rogue in the Wrong Direction (Updated)

As more information about the IRS scandal trickles out daily, the White House’s involvement is becoming clearer. Those of us who’ve been warning about the demise of freedom with Barack Obama’s efforts to “fundamentally transform” our great nation are about to witness some sad vindication. The president would like us to believe that he only learned about the IRS corruption from watching the news. But we recently learned that the White House was actively working with the IRS on how to roll out the story of this scandal. So, Mr. President, how can you have your staff work on the roll out of the biggest controversy since Watergate, and yet claim that you only heard about it by watching the news with the rest of us?
For the president to deny any knowledge of what was brewing and to claim to know nothing about the Benghazi cover-up or anything about anything White House-related lately, he’s either a liar or a hugely incompetent CEO. You decide.
Yesterday, we also learned that the top IRS official involved in the targeting scandal is planning on pleading the Fifth during her Congressional hearings. That's keen – she’ll be able to enjoy her Fifth Amendment rights in a hearing about how her intimidating organization denied Americans the ability to fully exercise their First Amendment rights.
Keep in mind that the IRS considers you guilty until proven innocent when they audit you. The Fifth Amendment doesn’t apply.
This scandal is not just about the IRS targeting Americans to deny them tax-except status or subjecting them to harassing retaliatory audits. The IRS also leaked to left-wing reporters the confidential application information submitted by conservative groups.

My twelve-year old son asked me tonight, "Dad, what's up with Benghazi? Why do they keep talking about it on the news?"Cross-posted at The SPJ and US for Palin
I told him, "After our Navy Seals took out Osama Bin Laden, the President said that we had the terrorists (Al Qaeda) on the run. A presidential election was coming up and "getting a handle on the terrorists" was a key to winning reelection.
When our consulate in Benghazi was attacked and Washington leadership failed to go in and help, resulting in four American deaths, a scapegoat needed to be cooked up. This is why a bogus, anti-Muslim, Youtube video that no one had even seen was blamed as the reason for the attack. This all happened right before the election. If the public would have known this, especially the cover-up, the election results probably would have been different.
Eight months later, the tangled web woven by the White House is coming undone."
A few weeks ago, I was warned that my posts were being monitored and that I better watch my back. It bothered me enough to lay off my posts. Now I'm seeing that people, the press, and groups are definitely being targeted by the Government.
Very scary stuff.

| While the massive, historic cover-up continues, some are fighting for the truth when it comes to Benghazi. Sarah Steelman is doing just that. This week she calls out Hillary Clinton and makes it crystal clear that it does in fact make a difference to understand why things went down the way they did that night on September 11, 2012. Steelman says understanding why and what went wrong will help prevent it from happening again. A classic case of history repeating itself looms if the cards are not put on the table. Steelman is calling on one principled Democrat to speak out and stand up to the Clinton-Obama machine. Steelman can not believe not one Democrat is demanding answers.
